We were delighted to create the wedding flowers for Emily and Greg's wedding back in June at one of our favourite venues, Caswell House.
When we met Emily and Greg at their wedding flower consultation we could not wait to get started on designing their wedding flowers. The brief was English Garden Elegance with little rustic touches. Caswell House provides the perfect back drop for this style and Emily and Greg really wanted to get married outside so it was important to compliment the already lovely gardens at the venue with the wedding flowers. We do lots of weddings at Caswell so we were able to assist Emily in deciding where flowers work best.
For Emily's wedding we discussed a mixture of tall and low arrangements on her tables which are a great idea in a barn setting with tall ceilings as it takes your eyes up into the room. We chose these very elegant cut glass candle sticks with stunning domes of flowers above eye level for the tall pieces and for the low ones, a nod to the rustic setting, very pretty pots made from birch bark and filled wrth mixtures of the wedding flowers.
