The Ashmolean Museum is one of our favourite places to work on events and weddings, so when We were invited along to create some designs for their showcase We couldn't wait to get stuck in designing 3 different looks.
This look was created as a relaxed Mediterranean style, focusing on the senses. Using potted herbs and fruit trees. Long tressel tables work well with this idea, this also enables you to build up a table-scape using added extras such as tealights in votives and greenery, giving more interest to anyone at the table.
The design for this table was to create Luxury, elegance and sophistication. Using our metal tree-like frames as a base, we built on these using gold foilages and ferns. With interspersed candles this creates a warm atmosphere. The base featured a white and gold flower full ring, again adding interest down onto the tables.
Bold and popping colours are always great to play around with and this design certainly is that! With monochrome tableware and linen, the flowers stand out and make a statement, Coral charm peonies, 'Miss piggy' roses and viburnum opulus massed in black vases create a clean, crisp look.
To finish off the evening Fabulous Flowers demonstrated a stunning tall table centre.
