For this 1950s inspired styled shoot, bright, clashing colours were key. Inspired by the rockabilly, rock and roll style, this shoot was great fun to be involved with and certainly got our creative juices flowing. Staged at The Great Barn in Aynho, with some fabulous suppliers and amazing props, this is unquestionably perfect inspiration for any alternative bride.

The bridal bouquet was packed full of colour, with purple Asters, lime green trick dianthus and pops of yellow and orange dahlia. We also included some Pom Poms, found in a local haberdashery, to add interest and extra texture. Trailing ribbons attached to the handle create a further air of drama to the bouquet, this also gives movement in the breeze, which looks great in photographs.

Adding the Rockabilly twist on to a traditional table centre was such good fun, adding three different coloured candles and ribbons to flow over the top of the flowers brings the whole design together perfectly.
