Ben and Alex

Bodleian Library, Oxford

Wedding highlights

For Ben and Alex, the brief was pure romance. Their Bodleian Library wedding flowers were designed around an abundance of white blooms, softened with touches of blush pink and just enough foliage to keep everything feeling light and elegant.

They were married in Convocation House, before drinks in the Bodleian quad and an unforgettable reception in the Divinity School.

The real floral statement came at dinner. We created full, continuous floral runners along the length of the tables, packed with flowers and designed to spill dramatically over the ends in generous cascades reaching right down to the floor. Against the historic stonework of the Divinity School, the effect was wonderfully romantic and completely immersive.

Alex carried a trailing, rose-heavy bouquet with a soft, natural movement that echoed the flowers throughout the day.

Ben and Alex were a joy to work with — open to ideas and happy to trust us creatively, which allowed us to really develop the scale and detail of the designs. Working alongside their wedding planner, Hannah Hope, made the process equally collaborative and seamless.

A beautifully romantic Oxford wedding, filled with flowers from beginning to end.
