Carie and Julie

A wedding weekend of colour and contrast at Cowley Manor Experimental

Wedding highlights

Carie and Julie brought their closest friends and family from America for a three-day wedding celebration at Cowley Manor Experimental. Brought on board by Constance at Mrs T Weddings, we worked with the couple over Zoom to develop two very different floral looks, each reflecting their fashion-forward style.

The first was all joyful summer colour: bright corals, peaches, yellows and pinks. Their outdoor ceremony made the most of the beautiful views, with flower meadows lining the aisle. For the celebrations inside, modern meadow trays filled the tables, while bowls of fruit and flowers brought colour and abundance to the buffets and bars. A generous floral arch framed the entrance to the dining room.

The following day brought a complete change of atmosphere. Dark, gothic and moody, the tables featured twisted tree branches, trailing ivy and moss, with dramatic metre-long candles rising above them. We transformed the floral arch into an overgrown tree entrance, carrying that wilder woodland feeling through to the dining room.

We loved working with a couple who had such a clear, adventurous vision, and creating the details that made each day feel entirely their own.

Love Letters

"Thank you for bringing our vision to life. Every day was exactly what we had imagined and, despite working long distance over Zoom calls, you absolutely pulled it off. We can’t thank you enough."
