Wedding highlights

Charlotte and Kristian came to us relatively close to their wedding after their original florist was no longer able to take the booking. From our first conversation, though, the brief felt wonderfully clear: soft, English romance in white and green, with nothing too formal or heavy.

We loved it.

For their ceremony at Donnington Church, we worked with a delicate mix of frothy gypsophila and beautiful white roses, keeping everything light, romantic and full of movement. The flowers had that slightly undone English-garden feel Charlotte wanted — elegant, but never over-styled.

After the ceremony, celebrations continued at Caswell House, where the mellow Cotswold stone gave us the perfect backdrop for the reception flowers. Tall, cloud-like arrangements floated above the tables, filled with airy gypsophila and white blooms. Their softness worked beautifully against the solidity of the barn, bringing height and atmosphere to the room without making it feel crowded.

One of the practical parts of the day was making sure the church flowers could continue their life at the reception. Once the ceremony was over, our team quietly moved and restyled the relevant designs at Caswell House while the guests were celebrating — exactly the sort of behind-the-scenes detail we like to take care of without the couple ever having to think about it.

Despite coming to us at fairly short notice, Charlotte was completely open to our ideas and trusted us to run with her brief. The result was a romantic Cotswold wedding that felt soft, timeless and entirely true to what she had imagined.
