Wedding highlights

Maryja and Harry were one of our first couples at Primrose Hill Farm, and their wedding holds a very special place in our story with the venue.

They were the perfect couple to work with — completely open to ideas and wonderfully trusting, giving us the freedom to create the wedding flowers they had dreamed of. Their vision was soft, romantic and timeless, with a delicate palette of peach, blush pink and neutral tones, filled with beautiful flowers and natural foliage.

For the ceremony, we created something that has since become one of the most recognisable floral looks at Primrose Hill Farm: flower meadows lining the aisle.

At the time, we were the first to create this style of floral aisle at the venue. The loose, abundant meadows brought the surrounding countryside into the ceremony space and created the most beautiful frame for Maryja as she walked towards Harry. The effect was romantic, natural and completely magical — and it has since been recreated many times.

Maryja's bouquet was equally considered, filled with soft, detailed flowers including beautifully scented garden roses. It was romantic and feminine, with the scent of the roses adding another layer to the experience as she walked down the aisle.

For the reception, we gave the floral design a relaxed, collected feel. The aisle meadows were carefully repurposed at the ends of the dining tables, allowing the flowers to continue their journey from ceremony to celebration.

Across the tables, asymmetrical hand-thrown ceramic bowls were filled with the chosen flowers and foliage, accompanied by delicate bud vases and glowing candlelight. The combination of tactile ceramics, soft flowers and flickering candles created an intimate and effortlessly romantic atmosphere.

Maryja and Harry trusted us completely to bring their ideas to life, and that freedom allowed us to create something that felt genuinely personal to them. Their wedding was not only beautiful, but helped establish a floral style at Primrose Hill Farm that has gone on to inspire many weddings since.
