Yasmin and Nick

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire

Wedding highlights

For Yasmin and Nick’s Blenheim Palace wedding, every floral detail was considered. We were brought on board by Westacott Weddings & Events to bring the couple’s vision to life, working closely with Yasmin to develop a very specific look for the day.

This was a brief where precision mattered. Our team created several floral mock-ups in the studio, refining flowers, colour, proportion and texture until we knew we had captured exactly what Yasmin was looking for. It’s a process we love for highly considered weddings — allowing both us and the couple to see, adjust and perfect the design long before installation begins.

The wedding morning started at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, before Yasmin travelled to Blenheim for the ceremony. With its individually designed rooms and celebrated gardens, it was a suitably special beginning to the day. Belmond

Yasmin and Nick were married outside on Blenheim Palace’s Water Terraces, one of the most striking parts of the Palace’s formal gardens. Designed by French landscape architect Achille Duchêne, the terraces combine fountains, classical stonework and sweeping views towards the lake — an extraordinary setting that needed flowers with presence, but not flowers that competed with it. Blenheim Palace

We created a generous floral arch to frame both the couple and that glorious view beyond. The aisle was lined with abundant flower meadows, which continued around the fountain so the ceremony felt surrounded by flowers rather than simply decorated with them. The effect was romantic and immersive, while still allowing the architecture, water and landscape of Blenheim to remain an essential part of the picture.

For the reception, the design became richer and more formal. Gold candelabra were draped with matching flowers, bringing height and softness to the tables, while low vases of coordinating blooms filled the spaces below. The combination of candlelight, gold and layered flowers created a luxurious tablescape that felt elegant rather than overworked.

What made Yasmin and Nick’s wedding particularly satisfying was the level of detail behind it. From the first conversations and repeated mock-ups to the final installation at Blenheim Palace, every element had been tested, refined and considered. On the day, the flowers looked effortless — but that sense of ease came from a great deal of careful design beforehand.
